Last night, Kate accompanied William to a private black tie dinner hosted by the Thirty Club at Claridge’s Hotel in London.
This was a members only event with some of the world’s most powerful media people in attendance. The monthly event allows key players in the industry to network and seal deals. Prince William was the guest speaker.
Kate wore a cream gown from Rouland Mouret’s 2009 RM collection. She showed off her slender figure and shapely legs in the full length, snug-fit dress with high neckline, long sleeves and a thigh-high split.
The dress is aptly called The Lombard, which the designer named in honour of the Hollywood “blonde bombshell”, Carole Lombard. We first saw this dress worn by former French First Lady Carla Bruni back in in 2010, although when Bruni wore it, it was teal, not cream.
The Duchess accessorised the slinky cream gown with sparkly silver Jimmy Choo ‘Vamp’ metallic sandals (£450) – showing off her maroon-coloured painted toenails – and a matching clutch.
Kate rocked a pair of chandelier-style AVA earrings by Beaut Jewellery. She wore her hair down, styled in her trademark loose curls.
