On Friday, Kate brought early Christmas cheer and comfort to gravely sick children and their parents at a hospice in Hampton, Middlesex.
The Duchess spent an hour and 20 minutes touring the Shooting Star House Children’s Hospice, which has beds for 10 children and daycare facilities for more at any one time. She also watched a music therapy session, met volunteers and had tea with children and their families.
She spent a great deal her time asking parents about their children and their experiences. During her tour, Kate tried her hand at art, drawing a dog with floppy ears and also entertained children with a little frog puppet.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a gray Reiss ‘Delaney Seam Detail Fit & Flare’ coat (£275 and sold out). It has no collar, seam detailing, a flared fit, slit pockets, and fastens with a single concealed button.
Finishing off her outfit, Kate wore skinny navy, cords, New-Dry Fur Trim Wedge Ankle Boots by Russell & Bromley, her Kiki McDonough diamond and green amethyst earrings and a new twisted silver pendant.
