You may recall the pretty pink Alexander McQueen outfit that Kate wore during her New Zealand/Australia Tour earlier this year. It was thought that this was a two piece skirt suit and with thanks to Duchess Kate blog and WKW, we have some additional info.
We now know that it is, in fact, a wool and cashmere-blend dress. The frock is available from mytheresa.com for a steep $3,395.
Alexander McQueen lends a vintage theme to this pretty dress.
Light pink fabric, reworked for a figure-sculpting silhouette, is given a feminine boost with a peplum waistband and draped detailing.
•Zipped back, hook fastening
•90% Wool, 10% Cashmere
•Lining: 75% Polyamide, 25% Elastane
•Designer color name: Powder
If pink isn’t your color, it’s also available in ‘poppy red’ at Lane Crawford (www.lanecrawford.com
) for $3,235.
