On day five of the 2014 Commonwealth Games, William, Kate and Harry headed to Glasgow, Scotland to show their support.
The trio took their seats in the Games family section and joined thousands of spectators to watch the artistic gymnastics at the Hydro stadium. They arrived shortly before 3pm as gymnasts from across the Commonwealth competed in the men’s and women’s team finals, and individual qualifying rounds.
After spending about half an hour at the gymnastics the royal trio walked to the SECC to watch some boxing action. They arrived just in time to catch the men’s welter (69kg) bout between Azumah Mohammed of Ghana and England’s Scott Fitzgerald.
After the boxing, they headed to Glasgow Green to watch as Scotland’s women hockey team took on Wales.
The last event of the day was at the Tollcross Swimming Centre where the couple watched Jazz Carlin win the 800m freestyle gold medal.
The Duchess looked stylish and stuck to her tried and tested sporting event ensemble of J Brand 811 skinny jeans, her navy, double-breasted Zara blazer (£79.99) with gold buttons, and her favorite Stuart Weitzman navy ‘Corkswoon’ wedges (£245).
Kate added a new, sleeveless white and blue pin stripe blouse to her ensemble. It has not, yet been ID’ed.
Finishing off her look, she held her navy Russell and Bromley ‘Muse’ clutch (£255).
The Duchess kept her jewelry to a minimum and wore her Kiki McDonough Citrine Drop earrings, her Ballon Bleu de Cartier watch, and her gold Asprey necklace featuring charms from the Woodland Collection.
She wore her trademark brunette locks loose and slightly wavy.
In the past, we have seen Kate wear similar ensembles. An example was on the Australia/New Zealand 2014 Tour. She wore blue skinny jeans, and an ME + EM striped Breton-style top with her navy Zara jacket.
