The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh traditionally host an annual pre-Christmas lunch for their family, before leaving for Sandringham where they spend the holidays. This allows them to catch up with more distant relations, who are not invited to join them at their country estate on December 25th.
William and Kate arrived at Buckingham Palace without Prince George, however on their way out, it was noted that the prince was seated alongside nanny Maria Theresa Borrallo in the back of his parents’ car.
The Duchess of Cambridge looked striking in her bright red custom Katherine Hooker sheath dress (£495), and her Mappin & Webb Fortune Pendant, and her dramatic chandelier earrings.
Kate wore this dress back in November when she championed an ambitious £10 million fundraising appeal for East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH) to build and equip a new hospice.
The Duchess’ earrings are currently unidentified (UFO) but thanks to ‘My Small Obsessions’ on FB, we know that she has worn them in the past (as far back as 2007). Her sister, Pippa Middleton, also has a pair.
George clutched a colorful children’s book as he peered out the window at all the waiting fans.
