The hotel holds a special place in Kate’s heart — it’s where she famously spent her last night before marrying Prince William in 2011. Her parents and siblings Pippa and James also stayed there.

The hotel’s Royal Suite, which runs the entire length of the top floor, with French windows in each room that open on to a balcony overlooking the hotel’s private garden, is reputedly where the Duchess set up her HQ for the big day.

The beautiful budding heart print has a beautiful retro vibe. Our expert printers in Como, Italy, translated this wonderful print onto beautiful Italian silk crepe de chine exclusively for Suzannah.
The smocking detailing at the shoulder and under the bust add a wonderful vintage charm, with the bias line of the skirt skimming to below the knee. Skirt part is lined in 100% silk habotai.

The Duchess opted to wear a summery, silk crepe ‘Sophia’ dress by Erdem (£1248). It’s rare to see Kate choosing such a bold print. The demure, knee-length dress featured Erdem’s signature ‘Visconti-bloom’ print, elbow-length sleeves, and a square neckline.

Kate Attends the Kelaart — Heathcote-Amory Wedding

For the first time since returning home from her South Asian tour, Kate stepped out to attend the wedding of family friends Thierry Kelaart and Patrick Heathcote-Amory in Nettlebed, Oxon.

Joining the rest of the Middleton clan at St Bartholomew’s church, The Duchess witnessed the nuptials.

Once again, she shopped her closet for her wedding attire. Kate donned the same pale grey silk dress with an embroidered floral motif by Erdem she wore for the Trooping the Color ceremony back in June.

The Duchess accessorised her outfit by adding a simple, but elegant white hat to her ensemble, a silver clutch (still unidentified) and her favourite beige patent LK Bennett “Sledge” court shoes.

Finishing off the look, Kate wore her Azuni London Semi Precious Stone Drop Earrings (£22.50).

A note on Kate’s clutch

There has been wide speculation that Kate’s clutch could be a modified version of the Alexander McQueen clutch posted above. I have contacted McQueen and will post any updated information when I received it.

Update 9/30/2012

Kate’s hat has been ID’d! It is by Jane Corbett. Per her FB Page:

‘How lovely to see HRH The Duchess of Cambridge wearing one of my hats at a wedding on Saturday, a soft grey hat with organdie trim that I embroidered to match the dress…..I so enjoyed making that particular piece!’

Kate Wears Erdem to British Gala at Eden Hall

After a whirlwind day and a third outfit change, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wrapped up day two and attended a British Gala at Singapore’s Eden Hall.

Their first stop was to sign the guest book.

Then they met with paralympic athletes and stayed for a seven course Chinese dinner in the Banquet Hall. Deciding to forgo the wine, the Duke and Duchess made toasts to the Queen twice with water.

Kate wore a white and blue floral print dress by Erdem (£895). It was a modified version from Erdem’s Spring/ Summer 2012 collection. The frock featured a pleated skirt, exposed back and loose-fitting sleeves.

Accessories included light taupe LK Bennett Harper suede heels with a concealed platform and 4 1/2″ heel height (£195). Kate also held a matching satin clutch that we’ve not previously seen and yet to be ID’d.

Kate Attends her Second Trooping of the Colour in Erdem

Thousands turned out for the Trooping the Colour parade – a traditional military display of pomp and pageantry – to see Guardsmen and the senior royals in their finery. It is also an enactment of the traditional preparations for battle when the Colours, or flags of a regiment were “trooped” down the ranks in order to be recognised by soldiers.

Kate watching the proceedings alongside Camilla and Prince Harry as William arrived on horseback to take part in the parade as Colonel of the Irish Guards.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a bespoke embroidered pale silver-grey, silk Erdem dress and a matching Jane Corbett hat.
