Wills & Kate Spend the Day at the Races

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made a surprise appearance at Cheltenham for the final day of racing.

They arrived just in time to settle in before the 3.20pm Gold Cup Steeple Chase. Watching the races from a friend’s private box, the couple cheered on Mike Tindall’s horse, Monbeg Dude.

Kate wrapped up in a double-breasted, dusty pink wool coat by Joseph that she was photographed wearing in 2008 before she was engaged to William. For today’s outing, it appears as though she had the buttons moved over about two inches, possibly to accommodate her growing baby bump.

She paired her coat with all-brown accessories including a £245 brown felt James Lock & Co. Ltd. ‘Betty Boop’ hat that featured a statement bow on the side, a matching brown suede Emmy ‘Natasha’ clutch,  brown diamond patterned tights, $635 ‘Zipkin’ knee-high boots with a side zip in ‘Cola Suede’ by Stuart Weitzman and £52 chocolate brown Cornelia James wool gloves with side bow (thanks to WKW for the info on the gloves).

Completing her outfit, the Duchess wore new Kiki McDonough ‘Eternal’ Citrine Cushion & Diamond Earrings (£1200).

Kate & Pippa Watch the Men’s Final at Wimbledon

Pippa Middleton accompanied big sister, Kate, to the men’s final at Wimbledon. They watched from their prime spot in the royal box as Roger Federer took the title.

Kate wore a a sleeveless cream ‘Vanessa’ shift dress (£275) by Joseph which we saw last summer during the North American tour.

The Duchess of Cambridge sported the same boxy, tweed ‘Nessie’ jacket (£480) also by Joseph at the Epsom Derby last June.

Accessories included her favorite LK Bennett Sledge heels and her Diane von Furstenberg Lytton Clepard clutch (originally £290 and currently on sale at net-a-porter for £145). The snakeskin bag is another item recycled from her North American tour wardrobe of last July.

Kate’s jewelry included her Kiki McDonough gold citrine drop earrings (£495), her diamond and sapphire engagement ring and two new necklaces, one of which – thanks to WKW, has been ID’d.

The biggest surprise was that Kate slipped on a pair of chic black and gold sunglasses. They are by Givenchy (thanks to My Small Obsessions on FB for the ID). They’re available for £159 from Harvey Nichols, www.harveynichols.com.

The Queen & Kate Get a Private Wedding Dress Viewing

Ahead of the public showing of Kate’s wedding dress at Buckingham Palace, the Queen and the Duchess of Cambridge enjoyed a private viewing.

The stunning dress is to take pride of place at Buckingham Palace’s annual summer exhibition this year, ensuring we can bask in the afterglow of Kate and William’s wedding day just that little bit longer.

Kate wore a pale pink silk 3/4 length sleeve Joseph dress with a crossover bodice (Fall 2011 collection and available in stores now). She wore her Jimmy Choo ‘lovely’ heels in Powder Pink and did not carry a purse. Her shiny hair hung loose around her shoulders.

She kept her jewelry simple and wore a silver pendant necklace, her silver Tiffany & Co Elsa Peretti® Diamonds by the Yard® bracelet and silver earrings.

Kate & William’s Final Engagement in Quebec – Forts-de- Lévis

Kate & William undertook their final engagement in Quebec. A crowd of roughly 1,000 people strained for handshakes, photos or just a view of the couple. The celebration was 375th anniversary of the Lauzon “seigneurie”, the 150th anniversary of the founding of Lévis, and the 10th anniversary of the new City of Lévis.

They entered Fort Lévis over the moat and through the front gates to huge roars from the crowds. They greeted some children dressed up in military costumes and then, to the thrill of the gathered onlookers, they split up, each working a side of the crowd.  The event lasted about 40 minutes before they left for their next adventure.

Kate wore a beige sleeveless Joseph ‘Vanessa’ Dress $212.50 (sold out). The dress had an oyster scoop neck with grosgrain pleating.

The description of the dress is as follows:
‘This sleeveless scoop-neck dress features grosgrain banding and ruching at the waist. Vertical grosgrain banding at hidden back zip. Vertical banding at sides. Serged edges at neckline and at arm openings. Lined at skirt.’

Kate accessorized her outfit with her LK Bennett — Sledge2 Court Shoes in taupe leather £175 and her LK Bennett woven straw ‘Natalie’ clutch £140. Both are currently sold out.

Kate also wore the previously seen Links of London Effervescence Bubble Stiletto Earrings and her hair was down.

After the success of the event in Lévis, William and Catherine left for the Jean Lesage Airport to head to Prince Edward Island, or “PEI”.

When the royal couple stepped off the Canadian Forces Airbus aircraft in Prince Edward Island, Kate added a pale pink tweed jacket to her Joseph dress and changed her shoes into Jimmy Choo ‘Lovely’ heels in powder pink (4.3″ heel height). The jacket is of unknown origin.(Media traveling with the tour say that officials had no information to share on the jacket, it was a ‘personal item’ from Kate’s closet.)

Kate Spotted in White at the Epsom Derby

The beautiful Duchess of Cambridge was spotted with her new hubby attending the Investec Festival at Epsom Downs Racecourse.

She looked radiant in a white above-the-knee chiffon dress and boxed button-up jacket. Some sources are reporting that both are by Ralph Lauren but I’m skeptical! Upon further examination and a quick trip to the RL website, I found nothing resembling the dress.

Two possible options are by Reiss. The first is the Reiss Peacock Dress (£195) with cording embroidery vermillion. Reiss confirmed that Kate purchased this dress back in April.

The second option is another Reiss dress, and just a guess on my part, the Sonia (£195) ornamental bodice dress in cream.
The jacket looks like it’s a Nessie tweed by Joseph (£460.00). It is currently available at Selfridges in Navy. http://www.selfridges.com/en/Womenswear/Categories/NEW-IN/Nessie-tweed-jacket_793-10038-S1127011354/
The outfit was paired with nude court shoes and a modified beret (fascinator) with deconstructed bow. There are currently conflicting reports as to who the designers are. I will update as soon as I have confirmation.
Kate’s hair was worn up in a loose chignon.

Update:

Kate’s shoes appear to be LK Bennett — Sledge2 Court in taupe leather £175
Her clutch (woven straw) also appears to be LK Bennett — Natalie clutch £140

Update 6/9/2011
