She was greeted by excited school children who waved St George’s Cross flags and lined up to catch a glimpse of her. The Duchess knelt down and chatted to the pupils, asking them about their favorite subjects and what they like most about school. Then she made her way inside to meet those helped by the project.

Kate Attends her Second Trooping of the Colour in Erdem

Thousands turned out for the Trooping the Colour parade – a traditional military display of pomp and pageantry – to see Guardsmen and the senior royals in their finery. It is also an enactment of the traditional preparations for battle when the Colours, or flags of a regiment were “trooped” down the ranks in order to be recognised by soldiers.

Kate watching the proceedings alongside Camilla and Prince Harry as William arrived on horseback to take part in the parade as Colonel of the Irish Guards.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a bespoke embroidered pale silver-grey, silk Erdem dress and a matching Jane Corbett hat.

The embroidery on the dress was quite intricate and absolutely gorgeous!

The children who accompanied her were from six schools in London and Oxford.

The Art Room Charity helps children from disadvantaged or challenging backgrounds to express themselves and develop confidence through art.

Kate Visits the Dulwich Picture Gallery

After her visit to Olympic Park, Kate travelled to south London where she joined Prince Charles and Camilla on a visit to the Dulwich Picture Gallery. The gallery is one of the country’s oldest public art galleries.

The main purpose of the visit was to introduce the Duchess of Cambridge to the work of one of Prince Charles’ education charities called The Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts.

Upon their arrival, they were greeted by hundreds of cheering schoolchildren waving Union flags.

They watched children painting pictures that will be submitted to the Face Britain project. This will, eventually be combined into a montage image of the Queen that will be projected onto Buckingham Palace as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

In addition, the art work will also be displayed on 400 big screens in city centres, shopping malls and train stations across the UK.

Kate wore a sophisticated 3/4-sleeved grey dress (fall 2011 collection) by Irish designer Orla Kiely ($250). It had a pleated skirt and black flowers embroidered along the neckline in a necklace-like fashion. She paired it with black suede Episode ‘Angel’ platform heels and a matching clutch.

Kate kept her jewelry choices simple and chose to wear her Links of London Hope Egg earrings, Tiffany Diamonds by the Yard bracelet, and her sapphire and diamond engagement ring.

Girls Day Out: HRH, The Duchess of Cornwall & Kate Visit Fortnum & Mason

The Queen, Duchess of Cornwall and Kate, all dressed in shades of blue, made an official visit to Fortnun & Mason. The luxury store was founded in 1707 and is a well-known foodie haven located in central London. It has held a Royal Warrant for over 150 years.

The Queen and two Duchesses arrived by car and were greeted by the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson.
The royal trio toured the store and enjoyed tea with over 150 guests at the newly renovated St James’ Restaurant. The restaurant has been renamed The Diamond Jubilee Tea Station to mark the queen’s 60 years on the throne.

Before leaving, they were each presented with a Fortnum’s hamper, containing items such as champagne truffles and dog biscuits.

Kate wore a simple, single breasted blue tweed dress coat by Italian label M Missoni (£765). Two small yellow daffodils were pinned to her lapel in honor of St David’s Day.

The dress coat is the Italian brand’s diffusion line and comes from their Autumn/Winter 2010 collection (no longer available). It is thought that Kate bought it a few months ago at the Bicester village outlet.

The Duchess’s coat had a vintage feel with frayed panels, seams and edges. Underneath her coat, we caught a glimpse of the cornflower blue Zara dress Kate wore the day after the wedding.

I have searched the web high and low and cannot find the sold out M. Missoni dress coat. There is, however, a red one currently listed on Ebay for $2,500.

Kate completed her outfit with nude tights, her grey suede Rupert Sanderson Malone Pumps (£375),  her Links of London Hope egg earrings (£275) and, of course, her gorgeous sapphire and diamond engagement ring.

Kate & William’s Final Engagement in Quebec – Forts-de- Lévis

Kate & William undertook their final engagement in Quebec. A crowd of roughly 1,000 people strained for handshakes, photos or just a view of the couple. The celebration was 375th anniversary of the Lauzon “seigneurie”, the 150th anniversary of the founding of Lévis, and the 10th anniversary of the new City of Lévis.

They entered Fort Lévis over the moat and through the front gates to huge roars from the crowds. They greeted some children dressed up in military costumes and then, to the thrill of the gathered onlookers, they split up, each working a side of the crowd.  The event lasted about 40 minutes before they left for their next adventure.

Kate wore a beige sleeveless Joseph ‘Vanessa’ Dress $212.50 (sold out). The dress had an oyster scoop neck with grosgrain pleating.

The description of the dress is as follows:
‘This sleeveless scoop-neck dress features grosgrain banding and ruching at the waist. Vertical grosgrain banding at hidden back zip. Vertical banding at sides. Serged edges at neckline and at arm openings. Lined at skirt.’

Kate accessorized her outfit with her LK Bennett — Sledge2 Court Shoes in taupe leather £175 and her LK Bennett woven straw ‘Natalie’ clutch £140. Both are currently sold out.

Kate also wore the previously seen Links of London Effervescence Bubble Stiletto Earrings and her hair was down.

After the success of the event in Lévis, William and Catherine left for the Jean Lesage Airport to head to Prince Edward Island, or “PEI”.

When the royal couple stepped off the Canadian Forces Airbus aircraft in Prince Edward Island, Kate added a pale pink tweed jacket to her Joseph dress and changed her shoes into Jimmy Choo ‘Lovely’ heels in powder pink (4.3″ heel height). The jacket is of unknown origin.(Media traveling with the tour say that officials had no information to share on the jacket, it was a ‘personal item’ from Kate’s closet.)

Kate Shimmers at ARK Gala

Kate and Wills attended their first gala as a couple. It was the ARK 10th anniversary gala at Perk’s Field in London where they were the guests of honor.

The Duchess looked stunning as she stepped out on to the purple carpet. She wore a floor length powder pink rose-sequin gown by Jenny Packham. The column dress is embellished with Swarovski crystals and has sheer, fluttery sleeves . She accessorized with a matching clutch and L.K. Bennett ‘Agata’ ankle strap sandals £175.00.

She wore her shiny brown hair down.

The dress is part of Jenny Packham’s Spring/Summer 2011 line. It is currently on sale for $3,515.00. http://www.mytheresa.com/us_en/sequin-embellished-gown.html?quid=61029863468S1086032T&gkid=322826373
